EZ Street Cold Asphalt Hangs in There While a Roadway Tears Apart

This is an overlay on the south coast of Queensland, Australia. When tears first appeared in the roadway, they were up to 100 millimetres apart. Before the contractor got around to repairing it, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) were asked to put in some EZ Street cold mix. TMR tell us that as the mat continues to shear and tear apart, the EZ Street cold asphalt is staying right in place—despite the fact that this is a significant downhill breaking area.
